Subject: An English-speaker askinsg for advice

Hello!  I am looking for a newsgroup with whom I can have a discussion
in English about travelling and studying in Italy.  I know some Italian,
but very little.

In january or february, I will be going to Florence to study Italian,
and I will also
take some time to see some of the country (Pisa, Luca, Siena, San
Gimingiano,
the Amlafi Coast, Rome).

I visited Italy last year (Naples, Rome, Florence), but I need advice
from people who really know the country -- advice regarding where to
stay, where to eat, what to see, what to avoid.

If anyone on this list can help, I would be very appreciative.  Or, if
you can direct me to another list that would be appropriate, that would
be good.

Grazie,
Arlene Bowen
