For this reason I spent a few hours to create an high quality Debian
package for the Tivoli Storage Manager client[2]. The client binaries
cannot be redistributed, so when it is built from source it unpacks the
RPMs and copies from there the files it needs to build the binary
package.

Out of curiosity, perché hai scelto questa strada e non invece quella dello
script che genera il pacchetto binario (make-tsm-package) alla
google-earth-package da poter uploadare su non-free?

Non lo conoscevo, ma comunque al momento non ho interesse ad investire
nella cosa altre risorse (e poi mi piaceva di piᅵ farlo con un makefile,
anche se quello che ho scritto ᅵ a tratti poco elegante).
I post duplicati sembrano essersi risolti da soli, boh.
