ciao raga .. ho un problema con le usb qualsiasi distro istallo devo istallarla col comando linux nousb.... al successivo riavvio mi si blocca tutto quando ricerca le usb.... c'è un modo prima di iniziare a caricare il sistema operativo (dopo che ho scelto l'avvio da grub) per disattivare l'opzione di caricamento dei driver... more »

ragazzi, ho questo probl... nessuna distro va bene per il mio prtatile. ho visto anche su linuxonlaptops, ma per istallare varie distro o bisogna escludere le usb o qualcos'altro. dato che questo portatile ha solo 2 usb e una card...le periferiche rimangono escluse,..... per non parlare del 3d.... vorrei sapere solo se qualcuno è riuscito ad istallare qualcosa su questo... more »

Win 2000 runs faster than 2.4?

I recently installed 2.4 on a 166mhz pc. The PC has 80mb of RAM. When I'm in X (GNOME) the machine is way to slow. I ran Win 2000 Advanced Server on this machine, and to tell you the truth this machine was flying. Is there anything I can do to the kernel to improve X performance?
