I am sorry that I cannot write or speak Italian.
I am writing you because I am in negotiation with the
curator at the Maison d'Ailleurs in Switzerland to
present some works of Interactive Fiction at their
upcoming October exhibition. In addition, I am looking
at other venues as well. But regarding Switzerland, it
would be best to have some games in Italian and
French. I have been working with JB already, and he is
working with the French IF community to develop some
works. For Italian games, I thought of you!
Here are the details:
1. There is no money involved.
2. The exhibition is called "An exhibition of
Unspeakable Things", based on the writings of H.P.
Lovecraft.
3. The exhibit opens in October, at the museum, which
is located in Switzerland. I cannot guarantee that any
games will be part of the exhibit. But, we are
negotiating this now.
5. The games will also be presented in an online
gallery, and possibly at conventions in the States
that relate to Lovecraft.
6. I also hope to run a competition to create
many games based on the exhibition topic, from
April 15-June 15. It would be cool if you could run a
parallel competition in the Italian IF community. I am
also working with the French IF community to do the
same. I would not say they are competitions, exactly,
it is an exhibition. I would like the respective
communities to vote on the released games only to the
extent of picking a "Best in Show" in each category.
That's it!
Please let me know if you, or someone you know, would
"curate" the Italian part of the exhibit. By "curate"
I mean:
1. Receive all Italian language entries,
2. Conduct any voting that would occur, announce "Best
in Show" for the Italian works,
3. Provide them to me for hosting in the online
exhibition.

Scusa....

Tanto, prima o poi ci riavviciniamo alle AT. :)

Manca un punto?
Ciao,
Alessio (a.k.a. Kinglion Il Meticcio)
Ma interesse a scrivere una avventura o a fare da curatore?? Non
parlavi di una cosa "collettiva"?

11:15, restate my assumptions: 1. Mathematics is the language of
nature. 2. Everything around us can be represented and understood
through numbers. 3. If you graph these numbers, patterns emerge.
Therefore: There are patterns everywhere in nature.

Entrambe le cose.
