The file you are uploading is not a .doc file but rather it is a .docx file
which is not supported! That is the reason it is failing...
The stat = 'ok' you are seeing is in response to the upload not the
conversion into a flip book which happens later.

i do not use much javascript i do not have much experience with this,

all works, i can upload the document and it gives me an answer, i have
no problem with that, my problem is that the response that it gives
me, it does not work for me because it's too complicated to the users,

I suggest you use a JavaScript/Flash uploader instead of the standard HTML
browser upload.
Take a look at: [link] or [link]
Our API supports JSON output format so it is pretty easy handling the output
in JavaScript.
Using these libraries also gives you other cool stuff for 'free' such as

When i upload a document by the API it generates a response in xml how
can i edit this page? this answer? or i can redirect to another url?
because it looks ugly to the design of the web please help it's for my
thesis i need help emergency..i can edit but the problem is that this
answer comes directly from ISSUU server and i do not know how edits it

Hi!
I want to know if there is a way to change the "View in fullscreen"
text that you see if you hover over a document.
I want to change this to Greek and although I have managed to do so
for the button on the toolbar above (using toolTips on the layout.xml)
I cannot seem to find a way to change the hover one...

Your signature says issuu.documents.list whereas your call is for
issuu.document.upload.

Hi,

I am trying to embed the Issuu Reader in a SSL-secured webpage. Is
there a way to use a local copy of the IssuuReader.swf on my
webserver. I tried the following :

You can achieve that already by using the right aspect ratio in your embed
code. For instance, if the pages are 2:3, then the spread is 4:3. If your
embed is 400x300, you should get the document covering the entire
space. That is, of course, assuming there's nothing else in the layout. We
do leave 10 px. on each side of the document in our layouts, plus we have

The parameters should be sorted in alphabetical order before generating the
signature. In your case the 'access' parameter comes after 'action' and
'apiKey', which is not the correct order.
