version 4.0.10 crashes every time I try to transfer an SSH key to a
host. It doesn't matter whether it's an RSA key or a DSA key. I get
prompted for my password, which I type in. When I hit OK, iSSH
crashes.

Can you please advise on how to solve this problem? I am happy to
provide you with more info if it helps.

Thanks!

a formerly very happy iSSH customer,
Bill

Just joining to bump/agree with this complaint, I'm experiencing the
exact same behavior. I have a 32GB 3Gs, running the most recent
firmware as of this post.

Unfortunately this code regressed as a result of other changes. A
possible workaround for the time being would be to "email" the public
key from General Settings, but instead of going through with the
email, simply copy the public key to the pasteboard and paste it into
the authorized_keys file on the server. I had received so many
complaints about not being able to send public keys via email I had
figured no one used the transfer key option anymore and was actually
in preparation to take it out.

(For the record, iSSH collects no use analytics of any kind, so I have
to guess as to what's being used given the feedback I received.)

I'll add that to the list of reasons why I like iSSH.

I dislike apps which phone home, both from a privacy point of view and I pay for my traffic by the byte.

Cheers
