5.1.0 has been in review a few days. In it is a fix for
authentication with VNC servers configured to not use any password. I
apologize this regression. I failed to test for this case and I
promise I will not again.

Also new to 5.1.0 is tunneled URI support. A tunnelled URI work using
the path specification of the URL. For a VNC to the remote machine at
port 5900, type:

ssh://us...@example.com/vnc

That's it.

Now if you wanted to remote to another VNC server accessible by that
host, type:

ssh://us...@example.com/vnc/otherhost.example.com/5900

RDP works the same way.

As for upcoming versions, I am working on the following:

* Terminal-free ssh connections for tunneling only.
* SOCKS proxy
* User-based (non admin console) login for RDP
* Some other super-secret stuff.

Thanks for the support! Feedback is always welcome!

Thanks a lot for your great work Dean!

Unfortunately my Linux system crashed with a broken disk.
It will take a while before I get this fixed :-(
One of the criteria is that the water in Taiwan needs to go down and taking disk prices with it ;-)

Regards,
Bert

Really looking forward to the SOCKS proxy implementation!

Is support for a middle mouse button on the roadmap anywhere?

Fred
