In order to select text through VNC, I have to click-drag the mouse,
or else hold shift while using the arrow keys.

Neither of these seems to be functioning. Is there a way to do this
that isn't obvious?

Thanks,

Zack

The virtual mouse buttons in the corner of the screen can be held down
and then one can tap at a different location on the screen. Not the
best design I'll admit and I'm certainly open to suggestions for
improvement.

One VNC client I was using way back in the OS 1.x jailbreak days would
use two fingers drag to move around the VNC view (with pinch / pull
apart for zoom out / in) and one finger drag would act as click and
drag. I found that implementation easier to work with. There was still
a virtual button to indicate right click.
