Hi,

I was looking for a nice SSH iPhone client which supports SSH, VPN and
connections to a Solaris host, so I recently bought iSSH.

Now I try to make a connection to a Solaris 10 host (user+passwd) with
an active Cisco VPN connection. When I try to logon nothing happens (I
don't get a prompt).

Can you please advise?

Kind regards,
Eelco

Does it work when on the same network as the Solaris system where no
VPN is required?

Sorry for my late reply,

Unfortunately I can't test this, since I'm working from another VLAN
(I'm not at the customer's location/network). However I receive a
message that my Cisco VPN connection is successful. I still receive a
time out message from iSSH when I try to connect to a Solaris Machine
(incl. a active VPN connection).

Kind regards,
Eelco

Sorry if this is a dumb question, but are you able to get to anything else via the VPN connection from the iPhone? Can you ping that Solaris box?
