Attached is the information and registration packet for the Azores Genealogy Conference and Research Trip to be held at the Salt Lake Plaza Hotel in Salt Lake City on Tuesday, April 10 - Friday April 13, 2012.

 

In addition to myself and Rosemarie Capodicci, we were somehow able to "kidnap" João Ventura and get him from Terceira to Salt Lake!  Not only will he be speaking, he will also be available for guided research or one-on-ones in the evening after dinner, along with myself and Rosemarie.

 

The registration fee is for those attending the lectures.  If you are bringing a spouse, significant other, or friend who is NOT researching Portuguese, and who is NOT attending the lectures, they do NOT pay the conference fee.  If they want to join in with you for the social/dessert hour, there is a $5 fee for the food.  They can still get a cafeteria pass (explained in the attached registration packet).  If you are bringing 2 friends or another couple who is NOT researching Portuguese, they can still get the $82 room rate.  Please contact me, Cheri, privately for more details.
