Islandora 12.1.0 features a beta version of the new Video Solution
Pack, along with improvements to the Collection Manager, Harvester,
and Solr modules. A number of bugs have also been fixed in this new
version. You can read about all the changes in the release notes:
https://wiki.duraspace.org/display/ISLANDORA6121/Release+Notes+and+Do....
Please read the documentation carefully before updating as this
version may cause issues with previously installed versions of
Islandora - particularly versions released prior to Islandora 11.2.0.
If you encounter an undocumented issue, please let us know so that we
can help build and document a complete upgrade path.

also i got to de "detailed list of content" and i see there that thw video
is well ingested. The only strange thing is that i cannot view the video in
the repository, i´m getting this message:
The video you uploaded is currently being processed. Please check back
shortly.

When you look at your Detailed list of Content you should see 3
derivative video files: MKV, MP4, and OGG. If you don't see some or
all of those derivatives, there may be something wrong with your
dependencies.
Go to Administer > Site Configuration > Islandora Video Solution Pack
Admin and check the paths to your dependencies. If any of these are
wrong the derivatives won't be created.
If your derivatives are present and the paths to the dependencies are
correct, let me know and we can troubleshoot further.

Go back to your modules page and re-save it (just click 'Save
Configuration' at the bottom without making any changes). This will
create the menu link to 'Islandora Video Solution Pack Admin' under
Site Configuration. For some reason this link doesn't get created when
you first enable the module, but re-saving your modules page will
create it.
What filetype is the video file you originally ingested?

Even though the file you're ingesting is already in MP4 format, I think JW
Player is looking for an MP4 derivative (which would have a different DSID)
and it's not finding it because FFMpeg isn't converting your original MP4
into a derivative MP4. I'll have to look into this.
In the meantime, can you send me the file you're working with? If it's
small you can just email it to me at dwil...@upei.ca. You could also try
converting your file to another format on your desktop (say AVI or MOV) and
try ingesting it again.
We're still working on supporting a wider variety of video compression
formats - unfortunately, this is tricky and requires a lot of testing. So I
appreciate your feedback :)

Hi David, ok i´m sending you the file to that address. What is strange is
that i converted the mp4 file to ohter formats and everithing is the same
result, i also download the countdown.mp4 video that you have in
islandora.ca virtual box, i tried to ingested and im getting the same
error. It seems as a problem wiht jwplayer cause if i ingested a video,
everything goes well, and i see .mp4, .ogg and .mkv file but in the preview
i´m still getting the error:
The video you uploaded is currently being processed. Please check back
shortly.
I would appreciate any help. I´m sending the file in other email.

Yes, this would appear to be an issue with your installation of JW Player -
I ingested the video into http://sandbox.islandora.ca and it plays just
fine. I've attached a screenshot of the list of Datastreams; do you see two
MP4 files in your list of Datastreams? If you only see one, there may be a
problem with FFMpeg.

Both the audio and video solution packs can use the same version of JW
Player, but this needs to be JW Player 5. You probably already have version
5 installed, but you need to make sure that the JW Player 5 module (part of
SWF Tools) is enabled.
If the JW Player 5 module is enabled but it's still not working for video
you might need to upgrade your JW Player library. Instructions for doing so
can be found on the page I linked to in my last message.
