Subject: My Club Race Crash
I wanted to update all on my crash in the first race (enduro) at the
club race at MMP. First, thanks to all of you...my racing friends for
your support. Thanks to Blake Troester for great video from his car
(attached) that proved it was not my fault. However, it was not needed
because Dale Tuety (the guy from Colorado that hit me) is a true stand
up guy who admitted fault and paid in full the cost of repair on my
car - $2,291!

On the topic of repair costs, I also want to thank Al Tiley, another
great PCA racer and supporter who donated a door (even the correct
color) and redid my graphics for no cost. BTW - did I mention that the
best graphics guy in town is Al's business...Auto Graphics. Finally,
Les Long, Airpower Racing, for getting the car back to racing level
and maybe to even better than new! Watch out...I'll be faster next
year. So...here's the crash:

See you on track 2010...Scott Parkinson

I did this last year, it was great fun.

           DRIVE AWAY HUNGER EVENT

 For Immediate Release

'Drive Away Hunger' Charity Event to Benefit Utah Food Bank Returns to Miller Motorsports Park on November 7

TOOELE
VALLEY, UTAH (October 20, 2009) - Based on the success of last year's
inaugural event, Miller Motorsports Park is bringing back the "Drive
Away Hunger" charity event benefiting the Utah Food Bank on Saturday,
November 7.

"Drive Away Hunger" allows fans who always wanted
to drive their street cars on a world-class racetrack a chance to do
just that, and help families in need at the same time.

Fans who
bring non-perishable food items will be allowed to drive three laps
around MMP's 4.5-mile full course behind a pace car between the hours
of 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Passengers will be allowed, but all passengers
must wear a seat belt. Additional track time, in three-lap increments,
will be available for a cash donation of $20. All proceeds will benefit
the Utah Food Bank.

"We are happy to bring the 'Drive Away
Hunger' program back for a second year," said John Larson, Senior Vice
President and General Manager of Miller Motorsports Park. "We had such
a great response to, and such good feedback from, last year's event
that it looks like we may have a tradition on our hands. With the
holidays approaching, this is a great chance for everyone - no matter
if they drive a Volkswagen, pickup truck, SUV or Porsche - to
simultaneously satisfy their need for speed and our need to feed!"

"We
are experiencing an unprecedented number of emergency food requests
and, sadly, we don't see that trend reversing anytime soon," said Jim
Pugh, executive director of Utah Food Bank. "We feel fortunate,
however, that we have such a generous community that responds to our
requests for donations. Drive Away Hunger is an incredible example of a
win-win method to help those most vulnerable in our community."

Drivers
and passengers under the age of 18 will be required to have a Minor
Waiver Form signed by their parent or guardian on file with the track.
The Minor Waiver Forms will be available at the track, or can be
downloaded from the track's website at:

 http://www.millermotorsportspark.com/documents/uploads/eventdocuments...

The forms MUST be printed in color; the track's insurance carrier will not accept black-and-white forms.
For information regarding Miller Motorsports Park, call 435-277-RACE (7223) or visit the track's website at www.millermotorsportspark.com. For more information on the Utah Food Bank, visit their website at www.UtahFoodBank.org.
