I have three cars, six people for dinner at the Gateway Grill in
Kamas, as of yesterday, the announced Deadline to guarantee a dinner
reservation.

The Tour will definately go on, unless we have blizzard conditions,
closing of roads, etc.

I am extending the Deadline to get dinner reservations until the 12th
of October. Please let me know ASAP if you think you might come.
There is no pre-payment (The restaurant will be your choice of entree
and you pay). If fewer of us show than I've reserved places for, I'm
sure Gateway won't be too distressed.

This Tour should be gorgeous, particularly if the leaves remain.

OK, we're up to 4 cars and eight for dinner. Here are the specifics of
the Tour, which can also be found on the Tours page of our web site:

Meet at Sugarhouse Park (2100 S and 1700 East in Salt Lake City) at
9:45AM on Saturday 17 October. Assemble on the dead end road on the
north side of the pond for a photo. We’ll start our Tour at 10:30 am,
after the necessaries are done.

We'll go up Parley’s Canyon, past Park City, and turn south on US 40
We'll stop past Heber City about 16 miles for lunch (about noon) at
the Lodge Pole Grill in Daniel’s Summit Lodge.

We’ll continue on US 40 to Duchesne, where we’ll stop for gas, treats,
etc. We’ll take North Center Street (21000 W), which becomes UT 87,
north out of town. Turn left onto UT 35 (Watch for it). We’ll pass
Tabiona, the Red Cliff in Tabby Valley (lovely photo opportunities),
and then drive through the towns of Woodland and Francis.

After Francis, turn right on E UT 32 to Kamas. The Tour is complete
when we arrive at the Gateway Grill. We’ve dinner reservations at 5:30
pm at the Gateway, 215 S. Main Street (intersection of UT 32 and UT
248). Weather permitting, we’ll eat outside in the garden.

As always, you're welcome to join us along the way or leave the Tour
anytime you want. The Tour is free; you pay only for your gas and
what you choose to eat.

The forecast calls for 69 degrees -- the warmest we've seen in a
couple of weeks. I was in Millcreek Canyon yesterday, and the leaves
are about half changed to their Fall colors; there's a good chance
we'll still have some out on Saturday, the 17th. We're up to six cars
and 11 people, as of this morning, for the last Fall Tour.

Final, final call ! Remember: we meet at Sugarhouse Park at 9:45am
and depart for the Tour at 10:30. The Tour concludes when we reach
Kamas and the Gateway Grill at about 5:30pm for dinner. All of the
particulars are on our website.

And don't forget the Fall Social on Friday, October 23 at 6:30pm at
The Bohemian Brewery, 94 East 7200 South in Midvale.

See you all there!
