Subject: Anti-Israeli artwork

This Brazilian has been creating art pieces calling the world to condemn Israel: http://www.thepeoplesvoice.org/cgi-bin/blogs/voices.php/2008/03/03/br...

Now if only someone would get the guts to do the same for America.

A. You're saying it as though nobody has ever drawn anti-American cartoons
before, like its some sort of a novelty and a taboo - the big bad wolf
coming out of the closet and risking being gunned down for....drawing a
cartoon!!!!

B. Here's how useful it is; its read, laughed at, perhaps passed around,
then forgotten entirely if not tossed in the trash of both the real and the
virtual world.

Most people in the world have the sort of stomach that digests criticism and
disposes of it properly without as much as a hiccup. (Not us though.
Reaction towards Danish cartoons for a reference. Which is probably why you
think cartoons make a difference).

Cartoons are just a passive aggressive approach which is easily dismissed
and which, for that reason, has never and will never make a difference.

someone (i) know, there's plenty of anti-israeli artwork on the
Iranian Caricture webpage: irancartoon.com
some of them are pretty inventive.

Baghdadia, I think you should go a little easy on Someone, she lives
in the most pro-Israeli country in the world (not Israel), its
understandable she doesn't see much of this.
