We are looking for Perl Developer for one of our client at Palo Alto, CA. Please let me know your interest.
Perl Developer
Location: Palo Alto, CA
Duration: 6 Months
The candidate must have knowledge of Moose, Coro, Catalyst and Plack (Perl Framework). 5-7 yrs experience, Perl 5 JavaScript, SQL (6 month contract possible extension).Please let me know if you can find consultants.
Required Experience:
· 5+ years of professional software development experience.
· 5+ years of Perl programming using modern techniques; knowledge of Moose, Coro, Catalyst, Plack
· Strong Experience with programming in JavaScript.
· JavaScript and jQuery; familiarity with building ReST based web UIs
· Knowledgeable about ReST interfaces, both writing and using
· Perl packages, application packaging full cycle development from specification to development to QA to release to maintenance
· Linux environment proficiency, using various Linux tools including screen and vim.
· Intimate knowledge of browser intricacies, including experience working with Internet Explorer browsers.
· Experience with SQL databases.
· Experience creating highly scalable systems, including clustered and/or distributed applications.
· Strong oral and written communication skills.
