Some aggregate statistics would be nice. Maybe Gaussian weighted moving
averages, exponential smoothing/Holt-Winters method.
Is it possible to see the current market depth? E.g. how many buyers and
sellers currently have bids.

Hi Simon,
Happy to help. I just noticed that iPredict had a web API this morning, so can't really advise on what functionality would be useful.
From looking at things, I would prefer that responses were not time delimited to 1 month by default. I think it makes sense to restrict the number bids per response (say, LIMIT 500), but adding a date makes iterating through all bids much more complicated.

Thanks for the heads up! (I haven't been paying enough attention to this)
I shall have to find some way to keep this info - but not sure how yet.
btw - there is the possibility of more extensions to this API at some
stage ... I can't say for sure when, because this keeps slipping down
my priority list (although it's high on the list of things I'd *like*
