Search tool for Contact notes field

I keep a lot of information/categories about individual contacts in
their Notes field. Does anyone know how to activate the iPhone search
tool to search each contacts Notes (and/or other fields)? At present
iPhone seems to only search by name????

Is this in regard to developing a web application, a native
application or just a general question about "how do I use my iPhone"?

There does not seem to be a way to search the notes (or all fields at
the same time) in the iphone. I looked at the existing app store
applications, and have not found any possibilities there either.

This would be a useful app that I would be willing to pay for
