hey,

is there a way to use navigator.geolocation in the SDK emulator. i can use it in the real device, but can't get it to work in the emulator.

this works on the device: http://smithsrus.com/geo.html but not the emulator.

Sorry for the late reply. MobiOne includes an iPhone emulator on
Windows that provides the full iPhone 3.0 HTML5 api support including
the geolocation api. Check it out at http://genuitec.com/mobile You
can test and debug your iPhone mobile location app on your desktop
with MobiOne very quickly before moving to testing on a device.

great. will give it a try.

In the meantime i wrote a library that wraps geo location access for iphone, pre (apps), blackberry, android, nokia ovi apps with a single API and making the ones that are not w3c compliant as compliant as possible.
