Simple iPhone App

I am trying to take a bunch of images (320x480) , and make a
"slideshow" like app, where when I touch the image, it shows a
mousover version of that image, and then goes to the next image when
the finger releases. I would also like to have a swipe back gesture
to
go back. Any help on how to code for that? Or maybe a sample string?
I'm just using html/javascript. Any help is appriciated!

AFAIK, nothing has already been coded/ready to use to do a photo slideshow slider on iUI.
A nice plugin to submit to the sandbox ? ;-)
