Just bought your app hoping it would be better the the free 42

Your app is nice but crashes on my iPad ( latest iPad, latest os)
And then everything I programmed in is lost. It's outrageous.
E.g

Lbl "loopy"
Sto 01
Lbl 01
View 01
Pse
Dse 01
Goto 01
Stop
.end

Enter a number and xeq "loopy
Crash!
And my program is gone!

The free 42 loops nicely and works.
Yours does not.
What's going on?
Ok just tried it on my iPhone 4s. Crash and total memory loss.

Hi Andy,

That's kind of strange. I was able to run your program on my iPhone
4S and new iPad without any issues... Maybe the 42s app didn't install
properly on your iOS devices??

You're probably using version 3.1.4 in which this is a known bug. I submitted version 3.2 which fixes this, it's in apple review now and should be out in a few days.

Hi Byron,

Yes I am using version 3.1.4.
Upon further experimentation, the bug may be tied to the PON printer
functionality.

If you have Print/PON set on and then run a program via XEQ "blah" and
if that program uses has a View command e.g. View .st x or a View 01
then the calculator jumps to the print view momentarily then
(sometimes) crashes, falls back into the iOS desktop. When you
restart the app you will (often/sometimes) find program steps to some
program completely lost and wiped out.

I've seen this happen with print set to MAN mode - haven't worked out
the behaviour for the other print modes.

Note sure if the 3.2 update fixes any of this.

cheers,
-Andy

Thanks for reporting back. Yea, these problems should be addressed in v3.2.   There is an option "Auto Show Print View" which automatically switches to the print view on print output. Convenient when light printing, but not so much in other cases, you may want to turn this off.  in Version 3.2 the printer watermark button indicates when there is unseen printing output.  Also in 3.2 you can view the print screen while a program is printing to print output.  Anyway, sorry for the trouble.  Please be patient and try out v3.2 when it hits the store, and let me know if you are still having any trouble.

This explains why Andy's program ran fine for me... I've always had
"Auto Show Print View" turned off.
