I have a 2TB hard drive that is filled with a total of
1,573,702,220,412 bytes. I tried to enter that number into iPhone42s
and it wouldn't accept the last digit - presumably it maxxed out. I
was amazed with this limitation. So my 13 year old son pulls out his
TI calculator and he entered it without issue! That's just not right.
Can this be fixed (assuming it's not a bug)?

Hi Mick,

The original HP-42S calculator allowed the user to type a maximum of 12 digits, and displayed 12 digits, and so the 42s does the same. The TI you are using allows 14 digits.

The 42s is actually much more accurate then the TI because internally values are stored as 25 digit numbers and all operations are done in full 25 digits. However, your point is fair, especially given the internal accuracy is much greater. I'll look into it.

Thank you - I'll look forward to this.
