Features Requests:
Page scrolling, by tapping at the bottom/top of a page, for jumping to the next/previous page, instead of line-scrolling.
could you please set a full page mode, in the middle of the prayer, you don't need neither the header nor the footer. When in full-page mode, you got a little translucent "i" icon in the upper-right corner, which gets you back to the "normal" mode.
Laminzach in Maariv
Would very much like a flag option to remove "sh'hem mishtachavim l'hevel"from Aleinu
more corrections for edut mizrach: 1a. Bircat Hamazon for Saturday night should have Migdol instead of Migdal (need source for this)
Schacharit in Edot Mizrach: missing extra tachanun and special prayers specific for this fast (need more info on this)
I see the Yehi Rotzon tefilot right after. Not sure that this is said at Mincha.(this is including the shacharis torah reading section. We don't eliminate anything. It is up to the end user to do so.)
Didn't see the tefilot for putting the Torah away (This would mess up Siddur Lite and Smart Siddur = OFF; It would show this even when it is not a fast day)
In Edot Mizrach the shem hashem is always followed by יאהדונהי, in all edot hamizrach siddurim. Please add, preferably a bit smaller
In Edot Mizrach, at most occurrences, the shem hashem has a space char at its end, before the comma. Please remove this space (it came from the find/replace, a couple of months ago, if you remember:).
Remove duplicate names in the public list (just show it once) (I can't. Each name could be a distinct Jew in need of a tefillah and therefore needs equal exposure on the list.)
Anyway, here goes (all comments are on the Edot HaMizrach version):
Transliterations
- I know you already have this item somewhere, but just wanted to voice my vote to change the transliteration "Edut" to "Edot". It also should be "Edot HaMizrach" -- adding the "Ha" before Mizrach, to match the Hebrew.
- Transliterations of the prayer names should be changed to be Shacharit instead of Shacharis, Arvit instead of Maariv, Brachot instead of Brachos.
- Within Brachot, you're mostly good, with the exception of Brit instead of Bris. Also should probably just be "Birkat HaMazon" instead of Benching (which is yiddish-based).
Clearly the transliterations are not earth-shattering in importance (especially since the English can be turned off), but they would show a proper sensitivity to the nosach if corrected.

(forgive the transliteration on content -- my email software doesn't support Unicode. i know, i know, time to change.)
- Within the Bracha Me'en Shalosh (Al Hamichya), where it should say "Al Hayayin" it actually says hashem's name. Probably was done as a global replace of the double-yud. This occurs in three places that I spotted.
- In Aleinu Leshabeyach (in all tefilot as far as I remember), it says "Vaanachnu korim umishtechavim umodim lifnei melech...". In every siddur nosach edot hamizrach that I have every seen, this is actually "Vaanachnu mishtechavim lifnei melech..." so I assume this was a copy/paste error from a different nosach and should be corrected.

say yehee ratson, you should skip the 3 words ribono shel olam), and

035. in tanei var kapara, hashem tsevaot: on a new line.
036. ana bekoach. important, after each passuk, put the rashei tevot.
also, veomer - either remove or as comment (small).
037. mishnayot, everyone should be a new paragraph (with start as bold), not only from the 3rd mishna.
038. chatot, misses the cholam nikud on the teith (twice).
039. rabbi yshmael, the count shoudn't be bold, maybe even smaller, they are comments.
040. yehee ratson (start paragraph) should be bold.
[ooops
- bug] i got till the end of the kadish al ysroel, every timei tap on
the left arrow (next to the wheel), the text shrinks, the right arrow
makes the text bigger. Is this intended to be (undocumented feature)?
Then
i played a bit with the wheel and arrow, the arrows won't do anything,
but the wheel works. Anyway, the text remains small. In the settings
pane, the text size slider is at the minimum :)
Also,
do i have to get back to the sections page, in order to move on to
psukei dezimra? I should be able to move on through the whole prayer
without having to get back to the sections window in the middle of the
daven, don't you think?

English Version
The
30 Cheshvan bug is fixed (no more crashes), but there is one minor
issue to still fix. Select 30 Cheshvan 5770 and change the year to
5771 that also has a valid 30 Cheshvan, and you will see that the day
of the month jumps to the 29th.
Transliterated Version
Translate UI to French, Spanish, etc.

Mizrach compass. Consider using the Direction to Yerushalayim Map code if the iPhone will not natively support compass functionality.
Could
you make an option to save locations for zmanim and then be able to
choose between them,because for people like me with an ipod touch in
Israel,you don't have a gps or cellular/wi-fi triangulation to always
update your location.Also,the minyanim feature hasn't been working for
me, even though godaven.com has minyanim in Efrat.
Directions
to minyan, with calculation if you can make it there on time (with
adjustable buffer period to allow you to be late... 10 mins for
shacharis, 5 for mincha, etc).
Next minyan in your area - set a
radius and the program finds the next minyan in the radius, & tells
you if you'll make it there on time.
It would be nice if the Luach had a "reverse" search, i.e. look for a Hebrew date and have it come up in the english calendar.
Kiddush
Levana has to be said before the full moon. The smart siddur should
only show kiddush levana from the 3rd day of the month (some will not
say it before the 7th), till the full moon. Adding a "Kiddush levana
has to be said before LATEST_KIDDUSH_LEVANA_DATE_TIME" with dynamic
monthly time at the top of the section would be very helpful. You can
put a star or M for moon that pops up on the "luach" buttom on the
first day to say Bircat Halevana and then you can shut the reminder
once you say it. It can also give warnings on the last two days if the
M was not checked off.
Please use Sephardic transliterations. Brachot instead of brachos.

Add "V'Tachazireinu L'Shalom" (usually found in parens) in T'filas HaDerech?
The parts of
davening only in use in a bais avel (alainu section) should be hidden,
so that the 99.99% of the time the siddur is in use, there will be less
scrolling. Maybe add it to the brachos availim section, o add the
entire section as a standalone section
In Barech Alainu, the
Vesain Bracha is in brackets in the format of (in the summer Beracha).
The smart siddur should remove the in the summer, and the brackets and
just have the word beracha. It is after all a smart siddur.
For
the first 30 days after the vesain beracha / vesain tal umatar switch
have it highlight in yellow to draw attention to it (this is something
that might actually be implemented already for all I know).
in
Shema Kolainu, the tfila for rain is very rarely said, is not in most
siddurim (not in artscroll). The Mechaber brings it down as part of the
7 rain fasts, not something said every day, and certainly not in the
summer. I vote to remove it, or have it show collapsed in the winter
only
There is a note before the lamenatzaiach before Uva
Letziyon about the days it is said/skipped. This should be part of the
smart siddur, and the list of when it is said is redundant.
There
is a star in Shema Kolainu in Mincha that leads to no footnote. also
In Mincha, the Vilirushalayim Ircha has a * that lead to no footnotes
The
minyanim list has the miles aligned in the center in a landscape view.
It is probably coded just for portrait and does not adjust for
landscape.
Long shul names that fit in well in landscape are still truncated with a ... in landscape (related to the above item)

Major
major improvements to Sephardic/Edot HaMizrach text. We went through
it in detail and cleaned a ton of it up. I am sure there will be bugs,
but your feedback helped a lot. Do note that some of the feedback was
specific to certain 'flavors' of this Nusach, we need to be as
"generic" as possible when releasing the Siddur. So hopefully that is
okay because we cannot release 30 different flavors of Sephardic text.
Also, Sephardic does not have the Smart Siddur yet, we hope to add that
soon...

Not sure if this is correct, double check: in mincha and maariv at שלום רב (ashkenaz) it says " בעיניך לברכנו ולברך את כל..." when it should be just " בעיניך לברך את כל..."
Laminatzeyach will no longer show on Erev Yom Kippur

i just saw the new version of the siddur app. and already i noticed that the word "amen" is missing from the "tfilat a amida" of the "nosah" "edot a mizrah" it should be like so ,(אמן) ברוך אתה ה' המברך את עמו ישראל בשלום אמן
No al hanisim in hanuka bentching Edit mizrach smart Siddur
Birkat Hamazon Edot Mizrach for Rosh Hodesh should have Migdol instead of Migdal Tonight (9pm 12/18) was both Rosh Hodesh and Motzae Shabbat and it still had Migdal.
The one liner for Rosh Hodesh is missing in Bircat Hamazon after the Harchmans.
In Benching with Hebrew menus, for benching has nikudos, and it looks odd in the menu.
Sheva Brachos has the () issue
Birkas Hanehenin has the mixt nikud/non--nikud, plus the : issue
Sefaradim say birchat kohanim daily, even outside Ertz Yisrael. The curent sidur has the ashkanaz substitute for kohanim. Here it is.

Nusach Sefard - Kaddish Yosom shows up twice after Oleynu in Mincha
On a day that we
read the Torah I don't see לדוד מזמור and ובנוחה יאמר after אשרי ובא
לציון (when the smart siddur is off I do see it there).
On fast day - Hagbah and Gelila occurs after the Haftorah.
Nusach Sefard - On a day
like Rosh Chodesh when we say the יום after הלל I see תפילה לדוד and
שיר המעלות show up by עלינו but without the יום which is not necessary.
Version 3.2 Changes:
When
you go to the luach on a hebrew leap year the parshas arent right in
adar bet. In 5768 on 27adar 2 it says that yhe parsha is kedoshim but
that is really the parsha for 27nissan

We are waiting on getting the revised Minyan database, as soon as we
get it (typically within 24 hours) we can post it to Apple.
Apple typically takes about a week to approve updates.
