LAST DAY OF THE $10 FOR PEACE CAMPAIGN
Have you made your contribution yet? Ten dollars is not too much to ask.
Wouldn’t agree to donate the cost of a movie?
A cup of coffee?
A falafel sandwich?
Not to much to ask to help us to run our peace education workshops for Israeli and Palestinian teachers, educators and peace activists.
It cost us $70 a person for the peace education workshops.
What about helping us to continue to convene our Track II meetings of Israeli and Palestinian experts – former negotiations, civil servants, - people who have ideas and can influence.
Wouldn’t you like to help us advance cooperation programs on cross boundary environmental issues of joint concern.
What can we do? All of this costs money. We have rent to pay and salaries to pay and overhead expenses.
International donor funds for Israeli-Palestinian peace work have dwindled. In IPCRI’s 21 years, it has never been more difficult to raise money for peace.
We need your support – we really do and TEN DOLLARS FOR PEACE IS NOT TOO MUCH TO ASK.

"There is a virtual consensus across the international community not just as to what needs to happen, but how...which was not the case a couple of years ago," Tony Blair
“The Security Council reiterates its commitment to the irreversibility of
the bilateral negotiations built upon previous agreements and obligations. The
Council reiterates its call for renewed and urgent efforts by the parties and the
international community to achieve a comprehensive, just and lasting peace in
the Middle East, based on the vision of a region where two democratic States,
Israel and Palestine, live side by side in peace within secure and recognized
borders.”
UN Security Council President speaking on behalf of the Council, May 11, 2009
