IOIO and Android Tablet Communication Types

Hello All,

As I know, IOIO communicates with Android Tablet via Bluetooth or USB. 

Are there any other method for communication? 

Note:  Since "Bluetooth is vulnerable and also not reliable" and "USB communication depends on USB cable that can be affected easily by touching",I need another way to provide communication. I need to have reliable data transfer mechanism and data transfering should not be stopped easily.

Yup, the requirements are not really clear, so it's hard to answer...

I use IOIO Board as a counter in my term project. I take periodic signals from an external machine via IOIO and number of signals are  are reflected to tablet screen. 

Due to the lack of reliable connection between tablet and IOIO, the number of signals are not true(not matched with correct number). What can I use instead of Bluetooth or USB to provide reliable connection between IOIO and tablet?

USB is very reliable. Any chance your app is unreliable?
