Subject: Loose Minute of the IOBB AGM 2008
The purpose of this "Loose Minute" is to communicate to all IOBB
members of urgent decisions made at the Last General Assembly of IOBB
held in Perth,at Murdoch University, Env.Sciene Seminar Room on Sunday
6th July 2008 at 9.00 am as follows:
1. It was agreed that IOBB should be registered as an International
Organisation in Australia
2.A permanent Secretariat is to be established in Australia
3.Dr Jaya Nair was elected as General Secretary to spearhead the
registration of IOBB in Auatralia
4.The IOBB Executive would set up a team to work with Jaya and prepare
papers and handle all the requirements for registration
5.IOBB members from other chapters would continue to give support to
the team in Australia.
6. Membership fees would be centrally managed by the Secretariat in
Australia
7. Dr Jaya Nair is to get in touch with the office responsible for
registration in Australia and start on the process
8. As General Secretary, Dr Jaya Nair will take minutes of General
Meetings of IOBB and General Assembly.
By copy of this loose minute, I am requesting Dr Jaya Nair to work
with General Secretary Irfan so that the minutes of the General
Assembly can be ready without further delay. We need the minutes for
us to implement our urgent plans and for all IOBB members to be
updated on what took place in Perth.
