Zen Web Site Question

Looking at InterSystems' and Dawn's  Web Sites,  they both start with html pages.
Is there any particular reason for that?. Can I start  Zen Web Site with a pure Zen page

something similar to ZENDemo.Home.cls with demoTitle and composite Menu?

Yes you can -- but unless you have enabled integrated security or are have a Public Web feature enabled on your license, this landing page will use a license slot  -- so use the integrated security and/or talk to your sales rep about your needs!

In addition, ZenMethod calls will not work from your login page because until you have a license, the session will expire immediately. The workaround demonstrated in the login page for ZenStork Tutorial and used for several years at DevCon / ^Summit, may still work in the latest field test, however I have not tested it recently. Instead you can use form submits for your login...this is one of the options described in the docs. There is even a loginForm component to make this easy.
