I get the following error only in Safari/chrome when I navigate from
certain pages:
"Unexpected status code, unable to process HyperEvent: (0)"

I think this only happens on pages with onunloadHandler(). I think I
read somewhere that Safari can't handle these. Does anyone know a way
to fix this?

Thanks a bunch,
Taylor

a TCP Trace would help if this is reproducible consistently. I am not
aware of any issue with that event and Chrome or Safari.

That error happens when a hyperevent is issued but the response is not
a valid XMLHTTP response = XML block with a status output. You see
this in FF and IE as well when a hyperevent crashes or fails or is
incomplete

Yes it is not related to the browser
I used to get it in chrome but after debugging it was my code

Hmmm.. It definitely only happens in those 2 browsers.  I suppose then there is a lurking error somewhere maybe that only those two are reporting and IE and FF are just dealing with?

There may be errors which those browsers are reporting too but lost in pop up blockers

Or its a JS error on those browsers that cause the hyperevent to fail. A trace will help if it is reproducible reliably

I got that error if I used an onunloadHandler that involved calling a server-side method.  Happened in Safari but not IE7/8 or Firefox 3/3.5.  Those were the only ones I tried.
