OK, my review. sorry for being late...
here's what i've got from this modded driver (7.15.10.1537) from
Juice, in my system (t5200, 2gb, gma 950, vista H.Premium 32bit sp1):

[-] it didn`t change your openGL version 1.4 to 2.0 or later,
instead..

[-] the modded driver is a problem big time when executing openGL
based application (tested both cinebench 9.5 and 10, star wars game,
so on). it launched and CRASHed.

[+] performance gain in some of my direct-x games (not sure but i
think 10-15% more)

[+] some of previously-didn't-work,-need-3da-or-ss2 games now runs
fine with registry changes (full spectrum warriors ten hammer, war
world tactical combat v1.9, so on) except overlord demo gave me BSOD.

[+] 0.1 higher index in vista WEI

Finally, a modded driver after v.15.9.8!!!!!!!
BIG-REP for mr.juice and mr.rabbit, can't wait for the next..
those who also had tested this driver, write your review here or post
your comments.

I have tested this moded driver on my system(T2050, 1Gb ram, vista 32-
bit and Intel 950).
I tested many games that requires shader model 2.0 and now it worked
perfectly when you added in the registry.
Now, i'w waiting Mr Rabbit to enable hardware T&L and Vertex shader
but i have one question for Mr Juice it's necessary to have 2Gb of ram?

Again - Credit goes to MR. Rabbit, i am also waiting for his next
step, my solution is just a crude attempt based completly on his inf
file.

I have 1 GB RAM.

THX for the feedback.

I have a question - does anyone have a HP laptop? If yes could You
please post its model number. I have a nx7300 myself but.... it has a
new bios format so I can't mod it (without risking to brick my system)
so I'm looking for different similar HP laptops. Pleas don't get your
hopes up - I do not want to mod the bios and unlock DX11 and 32
pipelines. I'm just curious.

I'm trying to track down the problem with openGL. Did you have those
problems with older drives?

By 'star wars game' you are refering to Jedi Academy right?

I have a problem with JA - its not working on my rig but its listed as
compatible on some Intel GMA Gaming lists on the internet.

no... but seriously boys i think that here we got a dilemma or
something because we cant stuck forever with an unique driver
(modded) forever, we need to update the drivers, but we cant mod every
single brand new driver.... so, idk guys but this is getting harder
and the worst part of this is than only vista users are getting the
benefits from moded drivers.... ans as we all know XP is way better
for games, well at least that is what ive got from many and many
benchmarkings that i read

JA it is. some freeware opengl games didnt work also.. (stair
dismount, truck dismount, etc).

@josepippo
you're right, but i dont want spend extra bucks to buy it just to play
today's games even i can afford it.
i also have a laptop with 8600GT on it, even nvidia itself didn't
release their official driver for laptop so i really depends on modded
driver by x-driver or laptopvideo2go (by modding the .inf file also)
and i dont think intel would release next driver for 950.
then my solution is modded driver. well, just my opinion.

boys we have to acknowledge that that moded driver is not perfectly
functional, it may perform some errors, but at least is better than
INTEL's lol

Jedi Academy had a kernel32.dll error i think (re-formated my comp.
soo the log is gone). it may of been a d3d9.dll error...... Also all
of the fixes for JA w/o the modded drivers is working, RABBITS modded
drivers also worked.

Thx for this comment - I'm still trying to get it to work with new
drivers (I have posted a GLDirect method but It was sub-optimal to say
the least :( )

I know, i've tried imoporting the old ig4icd32.dll to windows\system32
but it didn't do the trick.

If you want to play JA really badly you can try a program called
gldirect - its basicly a openGL-->d3d wrapper. I was able to play JA
demo with it (FPS was around 60 with everything set to max (but no
shadows) on my C2D 1,66 1 GB Ram.

But be warned! It broke COD2 for me (really badly - BSOD!!)

You can download GLDirect from Major Geeks or.... revert to the old
driver, which runs JA fine (according to Vek892)

COD2 demo works fine on the lowest setttings with Mr. Rabbits driver
and a registry value of 1. rn it in 640x480 rez, lowest settings and
astrophic filter (not Bilinear or Trilinear). jedi academy i've gotten
up to 60-90 fps on the real game (with highest settings & on the intel
released driver).

I thin that is the best solution right now - revert to Mr. Rabbits
driver - it has the best compatibility.

I think the OGL problem in new drivers is because they are for OpenGL
2.0 enabled GPUs.

yea just does the real CoD2 game run with rabbits driver and the
registry value (for the demo was getting 8-30 fps, mostly 15 fps)?

Well I do not have a full version. You may try the new driver 1545 -
COD2 demo runs fine on it.
