Should provide nice performance boost in gaming. Use my Intel Display
Adapter Management Tool and TuneUp's Turbo Mode for maximum
performance.

64-bit Windows 7 Required!!

It's good to finally see a MD for the 965 chipset and the X3100, but
is there ever going to be a 32-bit version?

There'll be tho first I need to see the results for this on other computers. Data provided as average FPS before and after installing it is appreciated.

Just a small notification, after my physics final tomorrow (you know,
moment of inertia, combined translation and rotation, black holes,
etc :P) I'll release an improved version of my MD for 32-bit and 64-
bit (windows 7) also I'll release an application that automatically
modifies a selected Intel driver installation (all versions of Windows
for both 32-bit and 64-bit).

So I've tried your MD drivers. I could have done the memory tweak
myself as my installed drivers were already kind of this way ( 1024 is
too much in my opinion as not everyone that runs a x3100 got over 1g
of ram, making this tweak useless unless you have at least 2g of ram.)

As for your guaranteed boost, of course It's going to boost those game
as you've only changed the vertex processing mode right in the
drivers...

As for performance goes, there was no performance gain on my side, it
actually decreased... FPS in WoW went to hell, I haven't border trying
my other games.

Thanks a bunch for sharing this, but no thanks.

WoW's performance for me went down with any modded driver (cept XP's)
due to the software vertex being enabled on it. However, I think 965
has hardware anyway (idk) so i don't think this matters?

Yes since a while now the 965 been supporting hardware shaders 2.0 and
HwTnL . The only thing is ,most old game will just run better with -
swtnl on the game shortcut target line, but It's not the case with
WoW, using -swtnl actually drops your fps, while using -swtnl in any
other blizzard game will give you a SIGNIFICANT boost.
