I have successfully run Penumbra:Black Plague with stock drivers on G945 (which basically is GMA950)

I never had black plague but i tried running it with penumbra overture
and it starts but just after the intro it stop working.
Have you ever tried black plague?

i have the same problem,i own both games (overture and black plague)
overture runs then black screen after intro............and black
plague runs,i played half tutorial of game,and after that........not
responding......
i'm on win 7 ultimate x86 with gma 950........i've also tried with xp
and vista......but same as here......

I've played it. Although I had the same problem as crashing after Intro. I don't really remember how I fixed that, but I've certainly completed both games, on my intel GMa950 :)

I just installed the stock drivers of GMA 950 and ran Penumbra
Overture but still after intro comes black screen... :(
Anyone know how to fix this?
I tried compatibility mode and it still doesn't work.
I also forgot to mention that i have windows vista

I just installed Penumbra Black Plauge and It runs fine on Windows 7 with Alpha V1.1
I will find my disk of Penumbra today and try it :)

Please can you try the overture version on V1.2 Sherry?
Because it is the only game version i have right now.

I know this is too late but I have just tried both Overture and Black Plague on Windows 7 and they didn't work giving the same fault. Are you giving us false hope ? :S

Its made by the same people who did amnesia I think, and that's a brilliant game.

penumbra is a nice game but i find silent hill 3 and silent hill 4
more nice than penumbra especially silent hill 3
