I installed Fallout New Vegas on my laptop with these specs:
Core2Duo T7200 2.0gHz
2.5GB DDR2 RAM
x3100 Stock Drivers (Modded drivers don't work well for me)
Vista SP2 HP
2X 60GB HDD

I put settings and resolution on low and added the following console
commands to tweak the performance even more:
tlv
tt
tdr
tll
tfow
tra
tws
tg
tdb
stmb 0
fov 50 (preference)

Indoors has no lag while the wastes is sort of playable. I'll test
more commands to tweak the game more.

good to know that such 2010 game is very playable on x3100! Anyway I
finished Black Ops (with lags, obviously) on x3100 :P

black ops is part console port, right? lol, if all the games today optimized for pc, then it wouldnt suck to much on FPS.

black ops was TERRIBLE for me on PC (and 90% of people at launch), the
settings were so bad as well that there were settings enabled off the
start that assumed that everyone had 2+ GPU's and 1 CPU lol
(multithreaded device and multigpu are the options)

Steam users got patches that fixed it for some people, non-steam
people have an update by SKIDROW but like the steam patch, only fixed
it for some people :/
