Ok so i followed the advice i was given and installed windows 7 =D and
downloaded AngelicTears modded drivers but when i run setup.exe i get
the error my system dose not meet the requirments. I have read that i
may need to moddify a .inf file, is this true and how do i go about
doing it?

Can some one please post instructions on how to install the drivers?

Thanks :)

ok bro,as u can see this driver is for GMA950 with device id 27A2 and
27A6 only. if u like, try and change the device id 27A2(2772) and 27A6
(2776)
(search within the inf) and change it to ur driver id..i assume u
know
how to search for ut device id.

note - you can change the values with the values in bracket

no problem,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, Kyuuketsuki,,,,,,,,you just need to do
an manual installation,,,,,,,,

go to the intel website where they released the official win 7 driver
for gma 950,,,,,from there download only the readme file,,,,,,where
you can see,,,how to perform a manual installation.....

If u have gma 950, your device id's can be only 2772 2776 or 27A2 27A6
27AE.

Open the device manager, right click on your gfx card, click
properties, then details, and there you can find your ID
.

ho

ho

hold on buddy.... if u are getting errors for the WIN7 MD v1.0

try manually installation as mentally said..

if it dosent work...

unistall the display device and reinstall

also reinstall MD

dont try to mod em by ur own.... the way that spcecific driver was
modded is known by KinGPin, Angelic and MAD_B... its not that easy as
changing the device ID...

the .INF has several lines, codes and formulas to change different
aspects from the original driver.

roger that?

so pls dont try to mod it...

thanks

hey guys, mind if i step in???

this problem as i mention earlier with my bro ram..it's a COMMON
problem with a simple solution.....

here's a step by step guide to make it easy...and try not to mod the
driver ur self, it WILL make the driver unusable....here it is...

1. ok, after downloading the driver. extract it to some place
temporary, a new folder "gma950" in the desktop for example..
2. after extracting, find the graphics folder.
3. Find the file "igdlh.inf"
4. open it..
5. press ur "F3" key.
6. search for "27A2"
7. notepad will try searching for that phrase, it will not take long.
8. after note pad found it ,try to change the "27A2" with ur device
id..

ok, How to find my device id u say? simple ^^
1. press the start button.
2. find control panel.
3. try and find system, double click it
4. find device manager, click once
5. find the graphics tree folder, double click to expand the tree
folder "Display Adapters"
6. Find ur GMA , i assume everybody should know this. double click it
7. a new window should open.
8. find the details tab.
9. under the property drop down menu, find "Hardware Ids"
10. there a list below the drop down button after that.
11. it should be like this
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_xxxx&SUBSYS_01101025&REV_03
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_xxxx&SUBSYS_01101025
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_xxxx&CC_030000
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_xxxx&CC_0300

12. the "xxxx" is ur device id dear boy. in my case it was 27A2
13. copy the "xxxx" or memorize it whichever u like.
14. change the "27A2" in the igdlh.inf to ur id "xxxx"

hope i help..btw..plss use the search bar, i already post this many2
times,tired of typing already ^^
and PLSS do not mod the driver ur self if u dont KNOW ANYTHING..it may
result in a unusable driver. if u can make it better,by all means tell
me..
lately i dont have posts coz bz working on smthing new
cheers ^^
