Hello,

I have several third-party installation that I need to include in the
installation of the product I create an installer for (using IS X, for
my product at least).
I have successfully created silent installations (.ISS) for two of the
third-party-programs. Working on the third third-party-installation
however got me stuck. The program refuses to create any output when
working with /R option (yes, I did check the WINNT directory and I
tried to use /f1).

Next I have tried to create an ISS by hand using instructions from
http://www.direct-io.com/index.htm?http&&&www.direct-io.com/kb/q100007.htm
which seem pretty accurate for me.

I just did the "Result=1" for every dialog I found, nothing else.
When I run this installation, the setup creates correctly the following
Setup.Log:

[InstallShield Silent]
Version=v3.00.000
File=Log File
[Application]
Name=[information deleted by Pelle]
Version=[information deleted by Pelle]
Company=[information deleted by Pelle] (DELETE ME)
[ResponseResult]
ResultCode=0

However, the software is _not_ installed as can be confirmed in the
"System\Software" Dialog of Windows.

Any clues to what's going on?

Thanks in advance,
regards,
Pelle.
