1) HOT POT!
Chinese New Year is coming up next week (14 Feb)...is everyone feeling
it in the air in the middle of Fontainebleau Forest? No? Well don't
worry...we're gonna create our own festivities!
We'd like to invite you to a Hotpot Gathering at Tuesday, Feb. 9.
Figured hotpot would be pretty nice in this chilly weather, a good way
to be social with everyone, and most importantly...a little less prep
time for busy MBAs =)
We will be holding it in Tavers, a big chateau about 25 mins away from
Fonty, so we need your RSVP asap to confirm rides and logistics.
Please use the link below to RSVP with your name, contact details, and
whether you can offer rides or need a ride. We suggest to leave
around 19:15 from campus to accommodate most people getting out of
classes, will confirm to you the final meeting place, directions, etc.
after we tally all the replies.
Also, note that we're initially trying to email out to the Chinese-
speaking lists on campus, but feel free to pass on the message and
bring others (but not the whole school, or else we can't feed
everyone!)...just make sure everyone who wants to come RSVPs so that
we can manage the headcount.

To cover the costs of food, snacks and some booze, we may be asking
around ?10 from each of you. Final cost to be confirmed on the day
after we get a better sense of headcount, etc.

2) Dragon Week
As some of you P1's may have been hearing, National Weeks are the
greatest long-standing traditions of INSEAD! Twice per period, both
campuses will host a week-long period of activities ranging from the
wildest parties to the most delicious ethnic dinners, to a lot of fun
and educational activities to promote a particular culture. All you
P1s will get a little taste of this next week as we begin to kick off
Latin American week =)
Competing against all the cultures represented in INSEAD, the P3s have
put in a lot of effort in November last year to win the bid once again
to host Dragon Week, which will be held April 5-9 across both
campuses. Now we would like to invite the P1s to step up and help
INSEAD plan the best Dragon Week yet! It's a very rewarding
experience, where your responsibilities can range from signing up
corporate sponsors (and even network with them for jobs!) to
choreographing amazing performances, from hosting the wildest parties
to just having fun teaching your friends Chinese drinking/dice games.
Oh, and all the project management, leadership, coordination involved
will surely help your resumes and interviews ;-)
We'll discuss it in more detail with you guys during the hotpot (so
please make sure to come if you wanna take part!), but in the
