ride tomorrow

Hey everyone,

My brother in law, wife, and another friend and I decided today to go for a ride tomorrow so I'm sorry for the last minute notice. Will leave from beaumont (tukwet canyon golf club) at 2pm and probably head down the 10 to the 243 up into idyllwild. Maybe turn around at the top or go out through palm springs and take the 111 to the 10 to home. No hard plans yet. If any of you are free and interested in riding w us, let me know.

Hey Tommy,

 

My friend was up all night cause his son got sick, so he was too tired to ride when we showed up at his house. Didn't want to leave him behind so we just hung out at his house for the afternoon instead of heading up the hill. My brother-in-law and I are planning to ride up to Idyllwild this Sunday through Hemet and back down the 243 to the 10 and home if you want to come out then. Should be a good day. We're going to meet on the 79 just south of the 10 at Jack in the Box on the west side of the road at 11am. Hope you can make it!

Missed you by an hour! My wife and I just got back from riding out to cal state to pick up a book she needs for next quarter and we went through Oak Glen on the way there! Sorry i missed you today, but keep me posted in the future. I'm up for a ride any time I'm free. Hope to see you Sunday!

Hey Tommy,

 

Idyllwild was really nice yesterday. Did the pines to palms run starting from the Hemet side. It was a little cold up at the top for maybe about 15 min while passing the Lake Hemet area but I was fine with a sweatshirt under my jacket. We didn't come across any snow or ice and there were only a few very short parts of the road that had some gravel around the center line. Overall it was clear skies and clean roads. Anytime you or anyone else wants to head up there, just say the word!
