Against Anti People & Un-Just Policies of Congress Government

Common citizens of the city, daily wage earners to domestic workers, slum dwellers to hawkers are to face an onslaught on their lives and livelihoods in the context of the anti-poor policies of the Congress led Government of Maharashtra. The slogan of Congress party 'Congress ka haath, aam aadmi ke saath' has turned out to be sham as particularly in Mumbai it is more with builders and corporates, which is evident from the growing homelessness and poverty amongst common people of the city. In the last year of their five year term, once again we are to hear declaration of empty promises from their leaders. In protest to this a symbolic Hunger Strike protest is being organized where 25 representative residents of the city will be on hunger strike to draw attention towards unfulfilled promises of the Congress led government.
