My apologies if I have posted into the wrong group.

I would like to test the Bingo cartridge on an existing chemical
database that is contained in Oracle 11 on Windows Server 2003 32 bit.

I am confused about which files I need to down load, Please would you
advise me. Thank you for the help!

Dear Bernard,

For Windows, we have no rights to distribute binary packages as the
Windows build of Bingo includes OCI libraries copyrighted by Oracle
Corporation. See the instructions for building Bingo from source:
http://ggasoftware.com/opensource/bingo/building-from-source

But after reviewing the building process, we have found how to avoid
dependencies on the binary code, copyrighted by Oracle Corporation,
and we will publish the binary installation files for Bingo for Oracle
on Windows with the next release.

With best regards,
Mikhail Rybalkin

Dear Mikhail,

Thanks for this advise. On the download page (http://ggasoftware.com/
download) there is a link to the Bingo 1.7 Beta2 source, but it is
unclear where the link to the Bingo 1.6 source is.

The instruction states : Source code: please see the Indigo's source
code below.
But I do not see a link to Bingo 1.6 there.

Thanks again for your help.

Kind regards

Bernard.

Yes, it is a little bit confusing. Indigo and Bingo have the same code
base. We made a release of Indigo 1.0 and Bingo 1.6 in the same time,
and the source code is the same. You need to download the source code
for Indigo 1.0.0 (stable).

Dear Mikhail,

Thank you for making this clear for me.

I will go ahead and download and build this now.

Kind regards

Bernard.
