This does not "ring any bells" as to possible identity.

As mentioned previously my familiarity with sub-tropical flora in Nepal is strictly limited -
I recognise a few things but often not.

'But why Private message ?'

I just clicked the reply button on the last post on the thread and it showed your name Jagmohan ji.
I realized it would go only to you only, therefore I tried to add the group address but the option was not available. To send to the group I would have to click on 'forward' and add the group address which would result in a long trailing mail, which I wanted to avoid.

That left me with 2 choices:
A) Click Cancel and reply via the initial post (of the author) on the thread. This would break the thread sequence. This is a net etiquette issue.
B) Continue with the reply (which I did) knowing fully well that it would go to you only. My assumption was that you will then post it on the forum, as you often do, and had preferred this setting as an administrator.

Alternately, the settings should be changed such that the click on the reply button (by default) sends the mail directly to the group (clearly preferable). Of course, the drop-down dialogue box should have the option to send a private message / forward message also, in case one wants to use it. I have seen the latter options on the group but it was not present on this (post of this) thread. Furthermore, I do not think there is a 'bug' in the system.

Solution: settings need to be modified by the administrator.

Trust that clarifies my action.

Samir Mehta

Re-posted as my earlier post had gone as a private message directly to Jagmohan Garg.

Please compare with SK273DEC26-2016:ID.
The two seem to be similar.

I guess T. serrulatum have dark purple fruit when ripe. I have
not seen fruit color as in the images for this sp.

Thank you.
