Adansonia digitata

I saw the delightful sight of this majestic tree flowering in the 1st week of September '10, at the Dr. Babasaheb  Ambedkar Marathwada  University, Aurangabad. Some of the flowers were still on the tree in the morning, and the pictures are taken at different times in the morning and evening.

Thanks Shobha ji. I truely had a feast ! The trees should be flowering now at Rani baug, the flowering period is monsoons. You should be there very early in the morning, or be there till late evening to catch the fresh flowers.  All the best.
