... today sighted at Yeoor Hills, the popularly known forest spider-lilies springing up, indicating pre-monsoon showers.
Pancratium triflorum, an endemic herb of Western Ghats ... locally known as pankusum (Marathi: पानकुसुम)

Oh so early....... Great!! We can count the days it takes for monsoon from its blooming time.
Though it may not be related, Pre-monsoon showers might be the only stimulus for the blooms(?)
