It looks like Cleistanthus collinus to me. If so it is a poisonous plant.

With regards

Ajinkya Ji, This plant or these plants are situated at Taljai Hill
near Dhankawadi,Pune.which is the main centre for exercise, many
people use to come there in Morning as well a evening. This is
actually an artificial forest developed by the forest dept. with the
help of people.Any way many thanks for the ID. We will confirm at the
actual site and if it is poisonous then can give the information to
concerned persons. Thanks again to you all.

Just to add--- It may be poisonous for someone but for Traditional experts it is valuable medicine used both internally as well as externally. Valuable food for Bison. (Nayan ji can add more information) Insects feeding on it including Aleuroplatus sp. are used as Medicine. Here is link to my recent work on this species.

Its extracts and leachate are used to enrich valuable medicinal species with desired medicinal properties. It is our Traditional Allelopathic Knowledge.

Anand ji can throw more light on it as in Bastar where he was posted, farmers still use it to manage rice pest. Many times modern insecticides fail but it never fails. Neem also manages the pest but Cleistanthus is considered as elder brother of Neem in many cases.

(Such compilation is named as "Oudhipedia" by VijayaShankar ji. ;)

Arvindji, I have seen these trees at Taljai but have not seen any of
them flowering or fruiting. Could you show this tree that you
photographed with fruits to me? You may call on 98228 36274. Regards,
Shrikant

Cleistanthus collinus are commonly found at Chandrapur, Nagpur,
Bhandara. one can find monotonous stretch of Cleistanthus forest.
speciality of this forest is that no under growth can thrive under
the canopy. the tree flowers during January- March. the fruit is used
as fish poison locally.
please see the attach pics (a separate mail) which I clicked during my
Biodiversity project

Shrikant ji, I have information about two spots.

1. Few years back I stayed in hotel in Pune displaying vintage cars in entrance. Cleistanthus was there. Here is pictures of hotel. It may give some idea.

2. In Lonavala it was in one of my client's bunglow. He was in Diamond business and name was Mr.K.Shah. His bunglow was just side of railway track inside town. He was planning to grow medicinal crops in nearby farm specially Stevia. I suggested him to plant many guard species in periphery in order to keep insects at bay. Cleistanthus was one of the species. He assured me that it is present in area and he will collect seeds in sufficient qunatity.
