I couldn’t resist putting this photograph as I have been seeing it regularly in Sanjay Gandhi National Park, Mumbai. Please identify although did Dr. Neil Soares point it out to me earlier and I have forgotten what it is. I think the flowers are red when the buds open..?

It is Casearia ovata [C.esculenta] locally called Kulkulta or Kirmira.

This should be Casearia graveolens (syn. Casearia ovata (Lam.) Willd.).
Casearia zeylanica (syn. C. esculenta) is different as per images and details herein.
