Local marathi name: Vanbhendi
Wihte rumped vultures prefers to nest/roost on it

  This looks like Tetrameles nudiflora. Where was the photograph taken ?

Yes, I agree with Mr.Neil. Its a great specimen.Pls take the giant
buttressed roots also in your next visit. It is Bhend but nothing to
do with Malvaceae. It is Tetramelaceae. Pls tell us when it flowers in

 Have seen a gigantic specimen of this tree at Savrat Ghan in Phansad WLS. The local name is Ran-bhend.

Neilji, I saw these trees at Phansad WLS last week. Ran-bhend name
seems to have come from obvious similarity of leaves with Thespsesia
populnea leaves. Praveen ji, pls tell me the location. I need to find
out if your site is easier to access than Phansad when this will
