PLANT FOR ID 157 SMP OCT 2009

Saw this large shrub or a small tree.6-7 feet tall on Vetal tekdi, Pune today evening. There were 20- 30 fruits hanging on it. I had no camera but took a small twig home and took these snaps.Can be some ficus. Leaves appear to be opposite.

Satish ji, i think it is Ceriscoides turgida (= Gardenia t.).

'Ceriscoides turgida' is called 'Phetra' 'फेतरा' in Marathi.
