Dear all,

Could someone please ID the plant species in the attached images?. Which Strobilanthus species is this?

This is an inhabitants of the shola-grasslands of Brmahagiri Wildlife Sanctuary (1430m) in Kodagu Karnataka (May 2008).

ID help will be greatly appreciated - Thanks in advance.

the plant leaves and general appearence indicates it is an Eupatorium sp. probably E. adenophorum an exotic of asteraceae which is found naturalised in our country now.
