Dear All,

Kaiga and it's neighboruing taluk like Yellapur, Ankola, Sirsi is a natural habitat for gowri lilly. Specially this flower will be offered to Lord Ganesha to decorate his mantap . folks will go in search of this plant in jungle( grown in matti) and bring home during this festival. Normally flowering in August & September. Pl see the attached healthy gowri lilly grown in Kaiga - Bare road side in their natural habitat.
