Here some from my garden in Ritterhude taken on 6.9.2010

The colors vary from white till dark yellow.

The two plant whose spellings are often confused:

This is Eschscholzia from family Papaveraceae (note sch twice and no t before z

The other is Elscholtzia from Lamiaceae (l before sch, sch only once and t before z
