Dear all,
Please help to identify this Senna species. I found this on the foot hills of Western ghats near a town called Natham in Dindigul district of TN.

Date/Time- 

05-02-2008 / 04:00 PM

Location- Place, Altitude, GP

ca; 300msl; Dindigul dist., TN

Habitat- Garden/ Urban/ Wild/ Type- 

road side

Plant Habit-

shrub

Height/Length- 

ca. 10cm; erect

Leaves Type/ Shape/ Size- 

c. 12cm

Inflorescence Type/ Size- 

raceme

Flowers Size/ Colour/ Calyx/ Bracts- 

2 -2.5 cm across; yellow

Fruits Type/ Shape/ Size Seeds- 

15 x 2cm

Other Information like Fragrance, Pollinator, Uses etc.-

I guess it is Senna auriculata - Tanner's Cassia

This is not Senna auriculata Chaitanyaji.

This could be Senna montana (= Cassia montana).
