Dear friends,

Back from Thallasherry and Kannur in North Kerala, the Cassia Fistula known locally as 'Konna' , is flowering all over the place, and people are concerned that this flower which plays an impoortant role in the 'Vishu" celebrations (which is the Malayalam New Year), may not be available in April.
