Dear Friends,
I am thrilled to inform you all that for first time the Whipcord Cobra Lily, Arisaema tortuosum (?) was seen blooming on BNHS Reserve. I had been chasing the blooming of this plant for over a decade but never witnessed its bloom. It is a foodplant of a hawkmoth, Theretra castanea. Enjoy the picture and if you want to see this flower, walk on the tar road outside CEC, reach to the bamboo clump and look out for this dainty plant in the opposite patch.
Cheers,
Shubha
